By Car
【From central Yonezawa】Approx. 30 minutes (about 20 km via Prefectural Route 2)
From JR Yonezawa Station, take National Route 121 and then Prefectural Route 2 toward Shirabu Onsen. The destination is located just past the Seki settlement.
【From Yonezawa Hachimanhara IC on the Tohoku Chuo Expressway】Approx. 30 minutes (about 20 km)
For visitors coming from Yamagata or Sendai, either Yonezawa Chuo IC or Yonezawa Hachimanhara IC is convenient.
【From Fukushima Iizaka IC on the Tohoku Expressway】Approx. 1 hour (about 53 km via Prefectural Routes 151 and 2)
For visitors coming from the Tokyo metropolitan area or Fukushima, the most common route is to exit at Fukushima Iizaka IC and drive over Shirabu Pass.
【Via the Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley (Seasonal Route)】
Visitors coming from Kitashiobara Village in Fukushima can also access the area via Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley. Please note that the road is typically closed during winter, from early November to late April. Be sure to check road conditions in advance.
By Train
From Tokyo: Take the Yamagata Shinkansen “Tsubasa” to JR Yonezawa Station (approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes from Tokyo Station).
From Yonezawa Station, please continue by bus, taxi, or car.
Although the nearest station is JR Sekine Station, it is located approximately 17 km away, and the property is not accessible on foot from the station.
By Bus
From JR Yonezawa Station, take the Yamakō Bus bound for “Shirabu Onsen Yumoto Ekimae” and get off at “Mori no Yakata-mae” (approximately 50 minutes).
The property is about a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.
Please note that bus services are limited, so we recommend checking the Yamakō Bus timetable before your trip.
